Chain letters don't work.
This is something that pisses me off more than anything:
People who think that forwarding e-mails will solve a problem. Some chain e-mails try to petition stuff, some try to scare people into forwarding, and then the worst ones of all are the ones that say, “On such and such date, don’t buy gas!!”.
